Product Details
A language. A culture. A right worth fighting for.
A tribute to the generations of Irish speakers and activists who campaigned for official recognition and legal protection of the Irish language in the North of Ireland
Inspired by the rallying cry Acht Anois (Act Now), this retro football jersey celebrates the fight for language rights, equality and recognition.
The front features Aigne Gaelach (Gaelic State of Mind), the movement's iconic red circle and Tír gan Teanga, Tír gan Anam (A country without a language is a country without a soul). On the back, ACHT ANOIS sits above the number 6, representing the six counties of the North yet to receive the protections our native tongue deserves.
Made from lightweight 100% polyester (150 GSM), with a loose, relaxed fit, subtle vertical jacquard stripes, contrast V-neck collar and short sleeves.
